James River White is a classic dry dinner wine, with a slightly crisp and spicy finish. A wine to be served as an aperitif, or with light fare such as trout, grilled chicken, or turkey.
The inspiration
for James River White came from the neighboring river. It has been suggested
that the river reminds the traveler of the grace and elegance of the Loire
valley. On both banks of the wide and majestic river, plantations dot the
landscape, some of which are among the earliest land settlements and homes
of American Presidents and historical figures. Winding roads on both sides
meander through deep woods, providing a canopy of shade to the traveler.
